ASSIGNMENTS AND PROJECTS
TOWNSHIP RE-IMAGINED: SS15
We were to generate the idea of site restoration by determining the issues and strength of the SS15 township. The investigation was carried out on site and laid in a SWOT study. We also needed to present our areas of improvement. Our idea was visualized with a two-storey plaza that could house festivals, entitled "The Togethering Plaza".
MY 'X' HOMETOWN
Individually, we were to recall, study and visually revisit our hometown to visualise the ambiance, environment, built components, society and culture through tangible and intangible components. We were required to choose a town or city of our origin and choose a specific area to study in detail. I chose my hometown of Bintulu to serve as "My Nostalgic Hometown".
NATURE INFOGRAPHIC POP-UP POSTER
We were required to manually produce 4-6 A2-sized boards of infographic Nature Pop-Up Posters. We needed to give a title to the infographic poster to emphasise the specific study of nature.
My group was assigned the study of the atmosphere in the tropical rainforest. We entitled our project "The Green Heaven".
THE NATURE JOURNAL
We were to watch the "Earth (2007)" documentary in the Library theathrette. In an A4-sized document, we were required to document information regarding flora and fauna elements, natural settings, natural phenomena. Besides that, we also needed to elaborate in detail our favourite scene, an environmental issue as well as reflect on my overall thoughts about nature shown in the movie.
